We are currently looking for… HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead, inspire and support our daily room attendant. In this role you will support our Housekeeping Manager to maintain our high cleanliness standards while keeping daily operations running smoothly. You will report directly to the Housekeeping Manager and play a vital role in team morale.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside room attendants.
- Supervise and help train a diverse team of room attendants.
- Inspect rooms and public areas daily to guarantee compliance with our cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate daily room assignments.
- Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure quick resolution and minimize room downtime .
- Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed by all team members.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience as a senior attendant in a large Hotel environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a fast-paced team.
- Exceptional eye for detail and a passion for high presentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate smoothly with other team members and managers.
- Flexibility to work rosters that include weekends and public holidays, matching peak tourism seasons.
The Park is a popular 80 room tourist hotel located in Waimarino (National Park Village) Ruapehu District catering to a predominantly domestic clientele through the winter months and a broad mix of international and domestic guests over spring and summer. Winter attraction is skiing & snowboarding at Whakapapa and Turoa. In it’s the Tongariro Alpine Crossing walk along with multi-day hikes, mountain biking, fishing etc. It’s a great area if you’re into the outdoors but not so good if bars, restaurants and nightlife are your thing!
