If you’re visiting from out of town and only have a few days up your sleeve, group or private lessons will be right up your alley.
Group lessons
Group lessons are a fun, vibrant environment with lots of encouragement. Kids love the group lessons as it gives them an opportunity to make friends on the mountain while learning a new skill. For the parents, here’s your chance to learn something new and have a great time doing it.
Group lessons are available at both Whakapapa and Turoa ski fields.
Kids aged four to 17 can enjoy the youth full-day ski group lessons and kids 8 to 17 can enjoy the youth full-day snowboard lessons. There are two lessons included in each booking, each lesson running for two and a half hours.
Adult group lessons run for one hour and 50 minutes. When you’ve finished your lesson, the kids will still have 40 minutes left on the clock. You can spend this time perfecting the skills you’ve just learned. Each booking comes with two lessons and is open to riders of all skill levels.
